u when the mind killed when Ur in the cave of the wolves, as the shelves, I think ur the door leading to the ruins of the upper level, a link that opens only if u accept that Elf Archer (forgot name is ) return to the spirit (the spirit opens the door).
ur not really missing anything, and the main quest of the Uruguay Round is the choice to kill the spirit.

You need a different way through. Continue straight (maybe) turn left when you arrive at the temple in the place where I on the right. Just turn on any track. They go into a house before you can enter the cave of the wolves.
